When we were just high school kids,
We knew we were meant for each other.
We knew in our hearts, from that time on,
For us, there would be no other.
We were married----much too young,
According to those around us.
They thought it would never last,
But God has truly blessed us.
Times have not always been easy,
But no matter what life would bring,
We just grew closer together,
And shared in everything.
God was put first in our marriage;
That's the secret to our success.
He's seen us through the hard times too,
And given much happiness.
I've never been sorry we married so young;
For it's given me more years as your wife,
And as years go by, I'm looking forward to
Our growing old and a happy life.
