MERCY
MERCY
Feb. 1976
When I think of Thee, My Lord,
And all you've done for me;
I find I can not understand
How this could ever be.
For I know I am not worthy,
That you should look my way;
And yet you always hear me
Every time I pray.
Just being in your presence,
Is joy and rest complete.
You take away my fears,
When e'er I feel defeat.
I pray I never have to bare
A single day without you,
And since you came and took my place,
I know I'll never have to.
