DESTINY'S DREAM
When I was but a child,
Wondering what would be;
Dreaming my wondrous dreams;
Hoping, my future see.
Watching a good movie;
Staring, Hepburn... Tracey;
Newspaper reporter;
Was this what I would be?
Dreams of foreign places,
Filling my hopes and dreams;
Knowing, a reporter,
Was just the thing for me.
Dreaming my noble dreams;
A missionary, be?
Maybe a pastor’s wife?
Was this my destiny?
Fell in love; married young;
My dreams, I now forgot.
This young man; all I need;
Fulfilled my dreams a lot.
God touched our willing hearts;
To foreign field, He sent;
Reaching out to the lost,
Their sin sick souls, repent.
Were all my dreams my choice?
God watching over me?
Fulfilling all my dreams?
Or this my destiny?

I believe that God is in charge of our lives, if we put our faith and trust in Him, He is our true destiny.
