I DON'T BELONG HERE ANYMORE
March 7, 2007
My heart has this constant aching,
For that place on distant shore.
This world seems so foreign to me;
I don't belong here anymore.
My heart has this constant aching,
For that place on distant shore.
This world seems so foreign to me;
I don't belong here anymore.
It's not that my home is lacking;
I have all that I need and more.
It's just that I feel a stranger;
I don't belong here anymore.
'Til that time, when God calls me home,
He gives me peace and so much more.
Yet I have this inner yearning;
I don't belong here anymore.
My loved ones are precious to me.
Their presence, I love and adore.
Someday they're going to Heaven.
I don't belong here anymore.
Christ sent His sweet Holy Spirit,
To guide me while here on this shore.
I could not have lived without Him.
I don't belong here anymore.
