You were my world
In my world without you,
The sun is gone,
It rains everyday,
And everything is a shade of gray.
You were my bright and shining star,
On my darkest of days,
You were my sun in the sky,
You were my reason why,
You were my reason why,
I kept going,
Even though,
I was feeling low.
I kept trying,
To reach my goal,
So i took a stand,
Hoping you would grab my hand.
But you didn't,
You told me i was a good person,
but you had to bail,
Leaving me to fail.
In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.
