Embers
Tiny glowing embers in the midst of darkness,Like stars on the darkest night,
Paving the way to your hearts desires,
The path to end ones blight.
Your kisses are as sweet as sugar,
and as addicting as nicotine,
After one, my body lingers for more,
And your touch is the only vaccine.
I get lost in your eyes,
Like it's one of my stories,
Waiting for the protagonists,
To end all of their worries.
There's something about you,
That makes my heart race,
Something that puts a smile on my face,
And a new goal to chase.
