    Fading

     Sleep welcomes me no more,
    It's grip is strong,
    As i fall into it's hold,
    I'm torn apart from what i see
    I see your smiling face,
    Fading into darkness,
    And your hand,
    Reached out toward me.
    I tried to save you,
    But i failed once again,
    Can't i do anything right?
    I hurt you once more,
    It seems like that's all, I'm capable of doing.
    I just want things to get better,
    I want you to be happy,
    Even if that means, Never seeing you again.

    Another great write. You write like I wish I could. Short and powerful. You don't fill the space with words that say the same thing in 20 different ways. It's very concise, clean, and delivered with an emotional kick. Great job!
