The war between us
Fire in the horizon,Casting a red glare,
Upon the broken plane,
Leaving it all bare.
Destruction all around,
Nothing still standing,
All Dreams broken to pieces,
All remaining hopes crushed.
Bodies scattered around,
Limbs here and there,
Bullets flying by,
Blood splattering the scene
War tearing us apart,
All the screaming,
All the fighting,
We just can't get rid of it all.
I hear their voices,
Echo in my mind,
They are tearing me apart,
The screams of agony.
I want it all to stop,
I want to be able to hear myself think,
I want to find inner peace,
I want to be forgiven for what I did to you.
Why can't there be peace,
Just a moment to relax,
A moment to make friends,
And not fight each other.
