Spider Webs
Like a spider you’ve caught me in your web,
Every thread of silk, is a something you said,
No matter what I do,
I will not be able to break these threads.
Now that I am in your domain,
You stalk me like I’m your prey,
I must be cautious, for every move could be my last,
But caution has never been my forte.
Your voice is like an angels serenade,
That lures me closer to my demise,
In my heart I know that I should run in fear,
But I can’t run, No matter how hard I try.
Every word you say I take to heart,
I tell myself that you would never lie to me,
And that you would never hurt me,
As your fangs pierce my body.
Even after the torment you caused me,
I still love you and are tangled in your threads,
And here I am trapt,
Because I hear every word that was unsaid.
