The Fight Within
A thousand voices reign,Chanting my name,
For i fight for glory,
Not money nor fame.
I heard the cry of the black birds,
As i walked onto the battlefield,
The great beast lay ahead,
Waiting to be slayed by my sword and sheild.
His skin is black like hate,
And his heart tainted by lust,
Thus Odin giving me this quest,
To slay him i Must.
I grab the hilt,
As he lets out a roar,
And lunges with all of his might,
Striking my shields core.
Dazed, I slash and Thrust,
For i will not give,
I will stand my ground,
Because i want to live.
This beast will fall,
Or i will die trying,
That is my dying wish,
To lay over his body crying.
