Forgive and Forget
Forgive and forget,
Is what they always say,
But how do you forget,
When you loved and lost?
How do you let go,
Of all of those haunting memories,
How do you open your arms,
To a new embrace?
In my experience,
You never really do,
You never forgive and forget,
You ust learn to deal with the pain.
In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.
