Welcoming The Pain
She toys with me, like a cat and mouse, like I’m some play-thing
My anguish is her aim. I want love. She wants, a fling.
She seems to enjoy my torment. She gets off on my grief.
Deriving pleasure from my pain. I can’t get, no relief.
She teases me so monstrously. I can’t resist her charms
Her smile hides her desires, as I leap into her arms.
The pain that she provokes in me, is self-inflicted I’m sure
But it can’t compare to the fire, that she uses as a lure.
She strokes my furnace joyfully, to pull juice from my rod
Using my passion to fan the flames, popping every seed from my pod
Then extorting me, from her recompense is a reason, she’s never bored
For playing her little games, to win is her reward
The blood drops are not much to pay, for my quest to win her heart.
For the pleasure that I have found. I can’t believe her sweetness is so tart.
The pain, I feel it physically, from my head to my feet
Though emotionally joy abounds, that fills my loins with heat
She keeps my heart in darkness so I can’t find my way
My emotion knows no light. She’s the hunter. I’m the prey.
though she treats me so unkindly, I will forever be her prize
she’s the source of my delight, and in time, my demise.
