TEST OF TIME

There is a separation between us, that much we know is true.

But nothing can separate the love, that is between, me and you.

Sometimes it takes situations like the one that, now exists.

To challenge a union like ours, that is determined, to persist.

I’m not saying it’s going to be easy, although we will overcome.

I’m saying it’s not going to be hard.  Do you understand where I am coming from?

With our creator, on our side, and the determination, of our soul.

The broken pieces of our hearts, will once again become whole.

So take this for what it is, another challenge of everyday life.

Our love, for each other will conquer, this temporary stress and strife.

I love you today. I’ll love you tomorrow; and for each day there after.

Just think of us as a long book, and this being our, shortest chapter.

You are my woman; and I am your man. I am yours; and you are mine.

Even though, we face a steep mountain, we will make it, a short climb.

With all that said please believe, it comes straight from my heart.

We WILL, be back together, and never again, be apart.
