LE$ To The Rescue
The fire alarm rang. I had no time to spare.
I had to get my equipment ready, and hurry over there.
As I arrived at the location, I heard the cry for help.
With my firehose ready, I rushed in like a stealth.
I burst through the door, and saw what was burning.
It was in the middle of the room, twisting and squirming
“Over here!” I heard. “This is what’s on fire.”
“Please come put it out, the temperature is getting higher!”
When I saw her face, I could only imagine her need.
But being a dedicated firefighter, she didn’t have to plead.
Being pact-safely, I rushed to where she lay.
Seeing the size of that blaze, I was gonna have a busy day.
Evaluating the situation, I chose my first tool.
Lowering my head, I followed every rule.
I went fast to work, but had to start off slow.
Starting at the base, which was down below.
Back and forth, up and down, I did my task.
Then switched to my other tool, without being asked.
All of a sudden, I heard a shout.
That's when I realized, the fire was out.
