    This just in.  MAN!  Sometimes I hate to watch the news.

    “A new soldier, trying to attract others to the military

    shot and killed, by a man, who thought the end of this soldiers life

    in some kind of way, was his to choose.

     

    I don’t even know his name yet;

    But they say he was a new recruit.

    He had just completed basic training.

    Now he’s dead barely, before he had a chance to lace-up his boots.

    Sadness bleeds through this piece. It is important for the world to reflect on what's out there, what's real. Some of us live in our pink little houses and taste no bitterness from the streets of America! Great poem! Reflection, at its best!

    awww...another great poem, sad topic...thats a lot of the reason why i hate watching the news...only the bad shit gets air time....

    Well the human race is to blame. Let's face it, the media shows what the people want to see.
