Imagination
I'm imagining what's it's like,
with you in my arms so tight,
sitting on the beach,
on a warm summer night.
You're looking me in the eyes,
and I'm thinking what a prize,
wanting this to be the beginning,
of the rest of both of our lives.
You're enjoying me kissing you softly,
right on the tips of your lips,
while you're messaging the back of my neck,
gently with your fingertips.
The night, has just begun,
the stars have re-placed the sun,
it's just, you and I,
away from everyone.
We have chosen this sandy spot,
as ours, and ours alone,
to be the start of, our forever,
until we choose to de-part for home.
So tell me, how do “you” feel?
Can my, imagina-tion be real?
If so, then “you” try to imagine,
my heart being yours, to steal.
with you in my arms so tight,
sitting on the beach,
on a warm summer night.
You're looking me in the eyes,
and I'm thinking what a prize,
wanting this to be the beginning,
of the rest of both of our lives.
You're enjoying me kissing you softly,
right on the tips of your lips,
while you're messaging the back of my neck,
gently with your fingertips.
The night, has just begun,
the stars have re-placed the sun,
it's just, you and I,
away from everyone.
We have chosen this sandy spot,
as ours, and ours alone,
to be the start of, our forever,
until we choose to de-part for home.
So tell me, how do “you” feel?
Can my, imagina-tion be real?
If so, then “you” try to imagine,
my heart being yours, to steal.
