Life
Why has life chosen to be so hard?
It’s easy to shoot for the brightest star.
There’s plenty of wealth, for everyone.
Instead we choose to live our life under a gun.
Life is a sweet, entity to posses.
Listen to guidance, I always suggest.
Please learn to hold, your head up high;
and stop trying to rush, the day when you’ll die
Funerals pass, down every street.
We notice the people, in their cars as they weep.
But life goes on; 'cause the sun will fall.
To rise once again, and welcome us all.
I can not believe, the will to not love.
It’s the most precious gift, from up above.
Still the yearn to hate, will not go.
The most expensive agony, from down below.
Life can bring joy. Death can bring pain.
Reversing the two, can bring forth the same.
Live your life; 'cause you’ll never know,
when your time is up, and it’s time to go.
The sight of a smile, on our children’s face,
can not be compared to anything in space.
It out-shines the sun. It out-sparkles a star.
Even a comet can not travel, nowhere near that far.
