Tattoo Of You
When it started I flinched, and closed my eyes real tight,
Imagining when it was over, you, would be in sight.
First, two circular motions, one after another,
Highlighted with dashes on top of one, and then top of the other.
A little lower I felt the movement, that at first, I could only suppose;
But when that was completed I was sure, that was the nose.
When I asked to take a break, I was told “No! Take a couple of sips.”
“I’m on a roll right now; and I’m about to start, on those beautiful luscious lips.”
That was the part, that kind of stung a lot.
You know, all that shading, in just one spot.
He said, “Open your eyes I’m finished. Now you can rest.”
I rushed to the mirror; and there you were blasted, right in the center of my chest.
