Taybear, Goodbye!
She says she wishes she never met Taybear; but I’m glad she did.
He came, he saw, he conquered. Now she feels, she has no more, to give.
She claims she can’t get away from him. Well I’m writing this to tell my friend,
Stop being ‘confused’ when it comes to your heart. It’s your mind caught in a whirlwind.
He didn’t sneak in. Like many of us, we let someone into our psych.
Don’t single yourself out. We all are susceptible. Don’t believe the hype.
Ok, you’ve met Taybear. Hell, he met you too.
You are never, anyone’s prisoner. Only you holds on to you.
He’s not keeping you close. You’re not letting youself escape.
Of course you can leave Taybear. He doesn’t have you duck-taped.
You say you’re with Taybear. Sounds to me that you’re not.
We complete ourselves, cause sometimes we’re all we GOT!
Wutta-ya-mean, you’re not yourself? Wutter-you, some kinda robot?
You got yourself thinking, he’s the provider of what you need. Well, he’s not.
No one can hurt us. We allow ourselves to be hurt.
Your success is because of YOU! What are you, some mindless skirt.
When you fail, hell, it’s because you didn’t do something right.
