I admire the beauty of nature that surrounds my eyes throughout the day

The forest speaks by breathe of wind that carries my traveling mind far away

As these feet of mine leave footprints to trace the path that I have taken

Creatures of the wild sing and play as the ground below me starts shaken

What beauty God has painted with this silhouette of the fading sun

Stars are born in the night sky as I stare into the brightest one

How I marvel at the wondrous creation that has opened my eyes

To go deeper into finding new meaning that will help me realize

I have tasted heaven with a kiss and felt the love of a mother

Sweeter than chocolate that melts away in hopes of seeing my brother

To share the closeness of a friendship that will never pass away

dwelling on the memories I have and for the light of that coming day

But with hopeful eyes still watching a cold world that’s falling fast

I will swim to safety with certainty that my God’s love will always last

So with even an ounce of truth I will outweigh your ideas and philosophy

My world of scattered thoughts and dreams go beyond what you can see

This dark and twisted place we call our home will one day crumble to ash

Life as we once knew it will be different with no need for cars or cash

This Hollywood glamour will be dead as silence and nothing of it will remain

We will bury our valuables that we all treasure and there won’t be any to gain

Though this sphere we call earth feels so big I still feel so small in size

What a mighty God we have who created something for my pleasured eyes

I’m Finding out that love is a much stronger weapon than death can bring

This world that I have seen to much of brings me joy and tears that sting

I’ve grasped the earth’s soil in my hands and planted this seed of hope

With my voice raised high I’m crying out to help those who cannot cope

With the struggles life brings us and the broken hearts that we can pave

Keep your mind on God’s promise and watch your sins roll away like a wave

This is my farewell notice to the world that hinders my ability to think

Give the devil just a foot of room and watch him cause you to sink

You will feel the weight upon your back as the sin slivers down your spine

He will cause you too misjudge your actions like a drunkard addicted to wine

Can you sense the fear of hell that is bleeding from my heart so numb?

Why have you let the world deceive you and cause you to act so dumb?

To become a fool for people to humiliate you like you’re a piece of trash

How will you ever better yourself if you just let your life go by in a flash?

Help me escape the world that floods my mind with so much pain I picture

Desiring the passion of God that electrifies my soul with words of scripture

It is at that time when You are more real to others as I carry this testament

I’m opening up my heart to feel a different side of life that is heaven sent
