    Is This Life But A Dream

     Is this life but a blur
    a mixed imagination in a stir
    spinning round in a blender
    watching reality occur

    Is this life but a dream
    a waking nightmarish scream
    that breaks wounded hearts
    that destroys self esteem

    Is this life but a pain
    that wraps tight on my brain
    that leaves many to wonder
    has my mind gone insane

    Is this life all but lost
    within a vision of the cross
    seeing Him who died
    and all love the cost

    Is this life but a joke
    like a cigarette half smoked
    is it all careless crimes
    upon which we've all choked

    so I ask myself is this life but a dream.............................
