This is my resolution to serve the Lord and fulfill the hopeful heart

Today has never been better to fully trust God to give us a fresh start

Everything I have is Yours and I want to get lost in your intricate ways

Tomorrow is a new beginning to see what awaits us in the coming days

Why wait when God is knocking at the door of your heart to come in

Every human needs a savior to forgive them of there guilt and sin

So many questions have been asked and many more will be received

We must be courageous like warriors on the battlefield who believed

They have what it takes inside to have faith that can move a mountain

A passion that becomes alive and springs inside us like a magical fountain

A dreamer whose never stopped believing in something greater than riches

All things are possible with God on our side as He pulls out the stitches

Painful wounds that once left memories of regret and endless sorrow

Now drift away like the wind as my eyes set sail for a better tomorrow

Will they see God when they stare into my piercing eyes that burn?

To tell of a truth that holds great promise and a life we long fully yearn

We’ll witness a spiritual metamorphosis of the heart and flesh now shed

A regeneration of our faith that ignites a spark to burn so hot it glows red

And our tongues shout out in victory cause the blood that covers my soul

Has the power to wash away the filth that has me lost and out of control

Help me shine when no light is present and the darkness closes in on me

I stare into an empty sky that’s turning grey like our hearts that fail to see

The power of God at work in our lives when everything seems so silent

Even at my strongest you still strike fear into my heart that acts so violent

Are we willing to face the task involved in being spiritual leaders for God?

Will we be the men that God has always imagined on this journey we trod?

Can we find the strength to overcome the weaknesses that stand in our way?

Are will we settle for less than our best as we say we did all we could today?

I’m praying to You that you make me a daddy who won’t ever stop caring

Make me a Father that my children respect and who learn about sharing

Show me your truest intentions that I have always wished to pursue

Give me the courage to walk humbly and know Your word is always true

I want to feel renewed inside and be resurrected into a new creation

This world fills us with mind pollution but your hope is my fascination

Never again can I turn away in silence and say I have fought hard enough

Because when the fight is over I will have finished the roughest of rough

The blood He shed was greater than any wound we have endured

The pain He took up on the cross was a way we have been assured

That heavens banquet has been reserved for those on His guest list

Our souls will not be forgotten as he showers grace like a soft mist

Like a magnetic attraction I feel my eyes being pulled into the shadows

Dancing off the walls and streets as a force to great to withstand grows

tugging at my soul to reach into the darkness that tries to collapse my hope

The world is filled with such pain and horror but know that you can cope

You don’t have to face this world alone if you let Jesus be your guide

Are you searching for redemption or running from what you hold inside?

Do you feel as if this broken world is weighing you down like gravity

And is your spirit hungry for truth but suffering from spiritual depravity

Don’t push God away but strive to become a warrior that can tackle?

The strongholds of sin that has me feeling like I’m bounded by a shackle

Must overcome the world that says your not good enough and never will be

Prove yourself to doubters and allow them to be amazed at what they see

Fathers it is time to rise up to the calling and submit to God’s will

Never back down and always be persistent as you make the attempt to drill

Words of scripture into broken hearts that are sinking under like a ship

Will you fly on wings like eagles and hold onto faith with a death tight grip

Be strong and courageous on this spiritual journey that your taking

I know new heights will be reached but we must get past the shaking

Our teeth chatter in fear of what could happen as a result of who we are

This is a resolution to my God and I will push beyond what I think is far

Who we are in this world is shown by our great love and actions?

Find fulfillment in His arms and know about absolute satisfaction

For to be a mighty warrior we must face enemies and bring them down

So be a hero to someone and let Jesus’ say you have earned this crown
