Fear
Fast.
She runs.
Danger nibbles at her heels
and she kicks sand into the face of danger.
She loves the adrenaline.
The high
of being in danger
of fearing for her life
and her sanity.
She goes the distance,
her toes dance on the thin line
tasting unchartered land,
coming home with the dirt
of past the fence
past the safeness of her world
that she has clung to
for so long.
She goes
to feel
alive.
She runs.
Danger nibbles at her heels
and she kicks sand into the face of danger.
She loves the adrenaline.
The high
of being in danger
of fearing for her life
and her sanity.
She goes the distance,
her toes dance on the thin line
tasting unchartered land,
coming home with the dirt
of past the fence
past the safeness of her world
that she has clung to
for so long.
She goes
to feel
alive.
