Causing Me Harm

Causing Me Harm

I rip, I tear,
to get out of my skin.
Can't take this feeling
that comes from within.
This fear, this anger,
this anguish, this hurt
these feelings that come,
that strike me alert
My anxiety, my passion,
my wild heart,
I finished it slowly,
but was quick to start.
I flick the lighter
on at once
to start my hobby,
gone on for months.
The blade is drawn
across my arm
and I begin
causing me harm

Bueno dias, I myself has and still at times lives this life of self inflicted harm.....all I can say, is that it is truly a moment by moment process and to get through it and or keep it at bay.....I myself needed to believe in something higher than I......May the creator send you an angel of mercy and peace, smile.....loved the write.....continue to put it on paper and the healing will begin....muchas gracias for allowing my access to such a person part of yourself......siempre, Native

A lot of pain and a lot of truth in that poem, sweetheart. It's very well written and I hope you find the strength to never cut again. I do care about you:)
