Fallen
I wouldn’t expect you to see
What lies behind her mysterious eyes
Raven hair cascades
Over pale and tragic shoulders
Oceans of bitterness drown her ability
To remain just a scratch, a sliver
Upon the surface of your life
I wouldn’t expect you to see
How you broke her heart
By your oblivious ignorance
Locked inside her fragile mind
Wading through tortured memories
She finds love no longer holds truth
Darkness shrouded her deathly form
Cold and alone, fallen and forlorn
She sang her song of ethereal pain
I wouldn’t expect you to see
While kneeling upon her grave
That she finally gave you
Your wanted goodbye.
