    Poem Commentary

    About how it is....relationships sometimes feel this way. Communication is complicated.

    Nothingness

    Splendid!

    there you go again

    just walking out

    have a ciggy

    blow it all off

    never-mind

    why should I care

    anyway

    what did you say

    I thought I heard

    you say something

    but maybe

    you never did

    and it was just a

    figment

    yes

    a splinter

    of tiny hope

    that it could

    be real

    but nope

    just imagination

    the wind

    squeak of the door

    perhaps

    just my mind

    collapsing

    into

    nothingness

    Sounds like a vent from both sides of contention and very candid! I like the breadth of deduction to discern what may be hope for reconciliation through the images set before the reader! a nice little tiff that possesses a cuteness. Applause Building!!

    I think everyone has these same thoughts at one time or another. This captures those momentary feelings and emotions beautifully. It can be very frustrating. Thanks for putting it all into poetic words for posterity and clarity...Kevin.
