    The Journey

     Make no mistake
    there's a journey
    each of us must take

    like a river flowing over the rocks of time

    each of us has a journey
    to take
    this journey is mine

    from ancient red sands
    it has taken me
    to valleys deep
    to mountains steep
    to tall prairie grasses
    to hurdles to leap
    through tears
    to laughter
    through pain

    this is the journey

     this is life's train
     many places
     many faces 
    I have seen
    along the way

    we don't know
    where the journey leads when it starts
    but 
    I know
    it has led to a place
    in my heart
    i did not realize
    was there
    and
    thats where the journey really takes you

    thats what it's all about

    to that place called LOVE there is no doubt.
