Greatness

Each one of us as individuals have the ability to be and most are good.
We are not random material in a cosmic soup,
God chose each of us as an ingrediant to something far greater than as individuals we could ever be and together for a moment in time
we experienced greatness.
Together we shared in the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat.
Together  for a moment and on bent knee and on eagles wings  we soared above the heights of the clouds.
Together and for a moment we adorned greatness with sunrises and sunsets over the ocean,we decorated it with treasures from the sea and filled greatness with love. We fed it with the bounty of the sea and fueled it with the spirit of love and true grit. We filled it's lungs with sea air and rode the waves of endless summer.
God brought each of us together for that moment in time, though there was no way we could have known it then, to experience what only together we are, which is Great. Beauty touched us and there for a moment in time there was grace in the dance. Some of the ingrediants are gone now but their flavor is still tasted, their sweet aroma can still be smelled, their joy and laughter can still be heard.
They are alive in our memories.
Together for that moment in time.
