My Little Family
My little Family
dont try to keep up
with the Jones'
take life more slow
you just might find yourself
and
someone you know
there is nothing like a smile
on a childs precious face
and
Love will save the human race
I watched my sons grow into
fine young men
and
if I could
I would do it all over again
grandbabies
stars in the night sky
my children are the apple of my eye
I gaze at the river
and
the mountains it comes from
and
I am so very proud of the men
my sons have become
my litle family was there when
I needed them most
with me in the mountains
and the gulf coast
they call for me now
wanting me close
is why
cant help myself
when I think of my little family
I begin to choke
I begin to cry
I have shown them to you
in a video or two
I write about them in song and poem
just letting you get to
know them
my little family
a pricelss gift
my little family
what a lift
