When You See My Heart
The lighthouse of friendshipshined upon the turbulant sea
the fires of Love
have kept me warm
in the winter of my journey
branches of the mightiest of trees
held me in the storm flood
of sadness and pain
the vine clung to me
hold's me securely
until the fruit is ripe
the floaters
in my eyes
have not blinded me
from
the brightness of your smile
hand's grasped together and tight
prayers
that see me through the night
thou my mind maybe old and dim
when you see my heart
you will see Him
