Dawns Mountain Lulaby
she never asked for much
out of life
and
was happy being his wife
but
there is one place
she really liked to go to
that special place
with an incredible view
Dawns mountain
where she could see
ponderosa pines
and
aspen trees
blue skies
breathe crisp mountain air
cool fall breeze
blowing through her
raven colored hair
dreams fill her head
of
cold mountain streams
and
a warm feather down bed
Dawns mountain
brings a smile to her face
if your looking for her
you'll find her
in that place
Dawns mountain lulaby
will forever last
you can hear it
in the aspen groves
in the forest
echoing
for the future
and the past
peasent dress
barefoot
flowers in her hair
strolling through
the aspen grove
without a care
like a fairytale
all the colors of the rainbow
and all the sweet smells
Dawns mountain lulaby
will make you smile
and maybe cry
will fill
your spirit
will fill your mind
