    Blues Man

    the blues man
    sometimes sings a sad song
    the blues man
    shows us what is wrong

    the blues man sings
    about love and heartache
    the blues man sings
    for our souls sake

    when we are in one of lifes many ditches
    the blues man lends a hand
    and pulls us out
    the blues man is
    one of lifes riches

    wether he plays slow and deep
    or wether he plays a lulaby
    to put us gentley to sleep

    the blues man who knows
    what it's all about
    the blues man understands
    there is no doubt

    the blues man sings more than a song
    listen to the blues man
    you cant go wrong

    when your head is spinning
    your feeling a little uptight
    nothing seems to go right
    it is the blues man
    that makes us feel
    alright

    listen to the blues man
    he is singing to you
    the tales that cant be told

    listen to the blues man
    because he has found some of
    lifes gold

    Loved your poem the Blues Man, love the blues, and loved this stanza. the blues man sings more than a song listen to the blues man you cant go wrong I grew up in a family full of Jazz musicians and singers. They all loved the blues so I heard them a lot. I sort of feel about the Blues like that old song says "I've got a right to sing the blues" which my brother kept telling me was a jazz song.Nevertheless the Blues and Country music speak to the soul they get to the heart of life. Wonderful work.
