    Sea Of Tears

    Whats keeping
    Me down
     
    Whats holding
    Me back
     
    My life is
    slipping
    through
    the cracks 
     
    One more poem
    One more song
     
    What am I
    doing wrong
     
    Sea of tears

    Momma's gone
    Family has moved
    away
     
    God
    Help me
    make it
    through another
    day
     
    No longer clear
    storm clouds are
    near
     
    in a
    Sea  of Tears
     
    Another toke
    Another beer
    in a
    Sea of tears
     
    Thoughts confused
    Where do I
    go now 
    stuck in first gear
     
    In a Sea
    of Tears
     
    No excuses
    but
    Plenty of regrets
    Plenty of fear
     
    in a Sea
     of Tears
     
     near 
    the end
    Sorrow has become
    my best
    friend
     
    Wrote about it
    for years
     
    in a Sea
    Full of Tears
