    In A Little While

     The earth is shaking
    like a woman about to give child


    in a little while


    a son wil be born
    to give us love and hope


    in a little while


    I think that maybe
    peaceful days are just ahead

    I gurantee this time around
    that boy will have a place
    to lay his head


    in a little while

     

    we will all hold hands together
    under sunny skies
    and
    through the stormy weather


    yes, in a little while
    when there are no more wars
    when we can tell that child
    you are the one I adore


    in a little while


    I might be
    a better man, a better friend
    but
    I just thank God
    that I will see
    that sweet child again


    in a little while


    we will be singing a new song
    in a little while
    is not very long
