walking through the
mountains today
listening to the song of the jay

|I stumbled across
some beautiful rocks

I picked one of them up
held it to the sunlight
to get a better look

much to my suprise
I realized
I was holding a gem

when I looked a little further
at the ground
I saw that
those gems were
all around

I couldnt believe
what I had found

rough though they be
I could plainly see
precious sunstones

excited at what
I had found
these little blessings
from the ground

I must have walked this way
many times
why did I find these gems
today

one doesnt know
what the Lord
will say
or
what He wants us to know

but

keep walking the path
because
He has something to show

gems all around us
most rough yes I know

it is up to us
to smooth them out
only then will we see
thier light
precious and bright

by staying on the path
you will have no doubts
what it is really
all about

these gems
at our feet
are a special treat

God put them there
just for you

I think that is really neat
