woke up early this morning
before
alarm clocks warning

I lay awake
and
couldnt take
my eyes off of her

she lay there so innocent
and beuatiful

I was sure
I was looking at
an angel

she lay there
with a gentle smile
on her face

and

I began to trace
our life together

I thought of the moment
I first saw her

eyes so bright
and
much to my delight
she smiled at me

right from the start
I knew in my heart
that she was the
woman for me

we both were so young then
when I look at her
I relive those moments
again

 I look at her
and
I think of the many wonderful,magical times
we have shared
the mountains we have climbed
and heartaches bared

I look at her
and
I think
what a luck man you are
to have scored
the greatest gift
from the Lord

I look at her laying there
comfy and warm

and
I relive the moments
