Secrets
I'm running to a place that I thought i'd left behind.
Digging up the flowers and wondering how I can be so kind.
The sun slowly gets brighter and my heart will always race
Reminding me why I had come to this place.
I can't be your queen
loving to be seen.
Telling secrets in the parking lot
the memories we thought we forgot.
Bringing us back to remember the name
Shouldn't we share the blame, or would it bring shame?
Choke me with a tightly tied noose, remember don't make it loose.
Don't kill me with the words you left unsaid
I won't let you wake me from the dead.
The concrete will always remain cold.
As the year pass by our story will be told.
And when we shed the lies and break the ties
They will find who to blame, a girl and boy filled with shame.
Hiding in a world of nothing but pain.
Secrets hidden for the rest of our life.
Memories bringing nothing but strife.
We're locked away in our own little hell, when will we get out? Only time will tell.
