For the Ever-Dreaming Dead
His eyes glow like fire in the distance,
He caught my eyes with just a single smile,
His mind controlled with complete resistance;
I knew him for a shamef'ly little while.
From across the room we met that one day,
His words he whispered like a ghostly song,
My heart is simply what he took away;
A shame that our hearts were not entwined long.
I cry now, thinking of his endless dream,
His green eyes closed to a death consumed world,
This love: I've fallen tragically it seems;
Because he's gone, it has ended my world.
The demon that took him away must get,
What he deserves, I'll have my revenge yet.
