©2010 I am a Rat (What are you?)
I am the rat
you could say
yes I am that
in walls I play.
I come out at night
eating food from the floor
lessening your labored plight
a few nibbles no more.
a diseased flea
parasite on my fur
and you blame me
for the plauges they stir.
so many things I do cure
so numerous my uses are
I care for our old for sure
and my sick are never barred.
The "crumbs" I take are but little
compared to all you waste
I get jobs done no dittling
our numbers great we work in haste.
