A scar spans from hip to hip
knotted in collagen overload
one under the bottom rib
none so ugly as part of his soul.
Exercise and run away from me
dress up the shell covering inside
looking at my reflection staring at me
from somethings you cannot hide.
There lies within, that vunerable part
like a lost little boy that'll never leave
he is the key to this bewildered heart
that wore each emotion on his sleeve.
Struggle with existense everyday
waking to what the new sun holds
he is who he is, that he can't betray
He's different so he must be bold.
I't doesn't matter , wisdom or age
the soft spots are always there
apprentice innocence to timeless sage
combining the two he tries he dares.
