©2010 The Crownless King
I'm a little mad, what gives?
but I do love you still
traveling the paths I once did
you're going up the same hill.
I have to remind myself
that it's not you but the disease
no need to ponder hard or delve
you will get better, keep belief.
I know what is in you, a fiery spirit inside
it's the same one that can drag you down
above the trees now, I know its no ride
to be king and lose your crown.
I realize how small you must feel
about an inch, Ive walked in those shoes
but if you listen and take heed, I'm being real
it all depends on the roads we all choose.
