©2010 Masterpiece (First Love)
You were there in my beginning
Candle in my cave of becoming
The wall's writing illuminated by your light.
Time moves foward, we fall out of touch
But when you come it means so much
I long to hold you tight, I know it'd feel so right.
I have loved a few along the way
Wishing they'd say the things you say
No one gets me or gets to me like you do.
I keep in mind the light shining on your face
God never created such beauty in this place
So picturesque , smiled upon by the angels.
I describe what I see, you start to blush
My pulse racing, desire rising, I start to rush
Your every adornment , a perfection words can't tell.
Perhaps only in dreams could I have your love.
For you I'd tear down the heavens up above.
I'd paint a picture of it and you'd see what I see.
No clouds, no silver, nor gates of pure gold.
Such trivial things would only grow old.
In my masterpiece there'd be only you and me.
