I've traveled many roads, some for the worst
I've watched life carried away by a hurst
So many lessons that I have learned.
I've found that much can be spoken by the eyes
Expression without words, different tears I've cried
Water quenching my soul, many passions burned.
Speech sometimes confuses my days
Words that harm, harnening my ways
Blinding me from seeing love buried in another.
Thinking before speaking, a virture I hold dear
The hand on life's wheel helping me steer
Towards love for fellow sisters and brothers
People often part from their divinity
Not holding fast to their spiritual creeds
Forgotten, the connection we all share.
When I am offended by what one does
I'll remember to always show them love
For of us all, they Need the most care.
