    Poem Commentary

    This is a sad thing for me, throughout my youth he taught me to love and dream of what I could not see giving me faith and belief. You will be missed Ronnie.

     Gypsy spirit , vocal of my soul
    how'd you know where I'd been
    putting truth in rock n roll
    singing what my eyes had seen.

    Through the years and many bands
    perfect chemisty found in each one
    You spread a message through out the lands
    and kept it up till your life was done.

    Mysteries hidden beneath a "good" society
    unleashing secrets of the pillars that support it
    He built shelters for "their" throwaway teens
    and let them know they were full of shit.

    Rainbows, Elves, Sabbaths, and God
    helping some to breakaway and dream
    not fearing religious persecutors who trod
    on anything different than what they deem.

    He will live forever, immortal expression shared
    saving me from their lies so many times
    by daring to do what was right , showing care
    and teaching my "Sacred Heart" to rhyme.

    A nice tribute to the late great Dio! My fave by him will always be, "The last in line". Talented artist, that didn't receive all the respect he deserved, when I had read about some who wanted to picket his ceremony... sad.
