©My Valentine to Joe(Cupid's Arrow)
Hanging mid air, arm pulled back
Hand to face holding the feathers
Aim so true showing little slack
His arrow flies unvering by wind or weather.
Target hit and He smiles, twinkling eyes
I felt a glorious piercing then I saw you
An angel of such beauty I couldnt deny
My heart lonley no more, fading from blue.
You say you aren't perfect and many run
I tell you that's the part of you I like the best
I know you've lived a bit , had some fun
Still I feel you are better than the rest.
Alabaster skin, blonde curly locks of hair
making me want to pull you so so near
Cherubial countenance, heavenly stare
Your shining ambiance chasing my fears.
Take my hand, I'll hold your's in mine
we'll walk the boundaries of eternity
defeat the limits of space and time
A joining the God's have surely decreed.
