Winter Moon
(11.15.02)
The moonlight haze,
Over the sunset blaze.
I stare up as my confusion starts rising,
What can I do until the horizon?
I think of unspoken words,
As I watch a flock of flying birds.
Tear drops fall from the sky and hide my own,
I plummet with them onto the wet soil as I think of feelings made of stone.
I'm frozen inside with grievance pain,
I cannot feel my heart from all the damage it has slain.
Now I am completely surrounded by darkness,
I don't think I can take anymore of this.
I keep asking questions that continue unanswered,
I think I will end my war utterly shattered.
The moonlight haze,
Over the sunset blaze.
I stare up as my confusion starts rising,
What can I do until the horizon?
I think of unspoken words,
As I watch a flock of flying birds.
Tear drops fall from the sky and hide my own,
I plummet with them onto the wet soil as I think of feelings made of stone.
I'm frozen inside with grievance pain,
I cannot feel my heart from all the damage it has slain.
Now I am completely surrounded by darkness,
I don't think I can take anymore of this.
I keep asking questions that continue unanswered,
I think I will end my war utterly shattered.
