    Denial

Denial as enemies go they stabbed you with a smile.
They faked the case and went to trail.
Emptiness through the memories of bitterness.
It tasted like betrayal before it even began no forgiveness.
Wither in the dark to be alone.
With the ways of lies to say and hone.
    Walk backwards in my shoes.
Far enough to see where I was to lose.
My choice had to melt before it was made.
My heart only beat to fade.
