    In Depths

Tired of chasing the opening door to stop the crowd.
Can't see the closed window to block the sound.
Don't sleep not pretending to be busy to just dream to empty the wait.
A tear falls over that time doesn't hesitate.
Landslide through the in necessary droughts.
Dripping onto skin to melt the doubts.
Pedals of dirt collect at the feet.
To continue to roll over them as emotions fall from all of the defeat.
Steady pace to fill the shattered glass.
Pounding night full of void around the mass.
Stumbling around foolishly with nowhere to go.
The first choice was right now forced to enter the Plateau.
    Forever gone into the abyss.
Darkening water carry over the dismissed.

This is very heartfelt and written with so much depth and feelings. Thanks for sharing.

To have great poets there must be great audiences too.
