    Frozen Fantasy

Listen to the whisper it does say what you want to hear,
Hold your breath and don't be sucked in by the fear.
Don't let yourself forget when you can't see me,
We can dance inside of the memory.
Quit trying to eliminate your emotions you try to deny,
Just think about the consequences I try to imply.
    No regrets to be made,
    Only making past failures fade.
Stop losing your ground and step beyond the line,
Take this promise I gave to only you to find.
My hands are here to help you forget,
Open your eyes and realize that I am not your threat.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
