Sweet Lullaby
Faint whispers arouse the spring airTickling my senses as I lay frozen in tall thin green
Listening to secrets I wouldn't dare share
My eyes open yet it all feels like a dream
A telepathic conversation between me and Mother
On what's new and how life is sustaining
Spying on the scenery as we catch up with one another
Heating up from the sun rays above me
While flying with the wind inside me
And swimming in the green around me
As I sink into the soil below me
Even though there's really never much to say
Feeling Her love, Her laughter and even Her cry
Makes me enjoy living everyday
Thankful to still be a part of Her sweet lullaby
